Description

Fast filtration in a compact squeeze system makes the Platypus QuickDraw 1L Filter System a practical choice for hiking, backpacking and travel where treated water is needed on the move. Its hollow-fibre filter processes up to 3 litres per minute and removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa.

The 1-litre dirty-water reservoir uses a wide opening and fill handle for easier collection, while dual threads let the filter connect to the supplied reservoir and compatible narrow-mouth bottles. The full system weighs about 95 g, so it packs easily when space and weight matter.

Shake-to-clean and backflushing provide two ways to restore flow in the field, and the filter has a rated cartridge life of up to 1,000 litres. An integrity-check process lets you verify that the filter is still functioning correctly before use.

The system is effective against bacteria, protozoa and particulates, but it does not remove viruses or chemicals and toxins. The package includes the QuickDraw filter, 1-litre dirty reservoir and cap, dirty-side cap, ConnectCap with cover, DrinkCap and backflush washer.
