Description

Keep campsite lighting and insect control in one compact unit with the Vango Midge 100 Light. Its rechargeable LED lantern provides three brightness settings up to 100 lumens, while a separate UV insect-zapper function is designed to attract flying insects towards the internal grid.

Choose between 100, 50 and 24 lumen lighting modes, with listed runtimes of approximately 4, 7 and 15 hours respectively. The insect-zapper function has a listed runtime of up to 24 hours and a coverage area of around 5 m², making it useful around tents, awnings and outdoor seating areas without relying on chemical repellents in the unit itself.

A built-in 3.7 V 1000 mAh rechargeable battery charges by USB in around three hours. At just 175 g, with an integrated hanging hook and compact dimensions, the Midge 100 is easy to place where you need light or pack away when camp is moving on.

About the brand

Vango

Vango is a Scottish outdoor brand, founded in 1966 in the west of Scotland by Alistair Moodie, its name an anagram of Govan, where it began. Still based near Glasgow at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, it has spent decades designing tents and equipment tested against real Scottish weather.
