Description

The Vango Tay 400 is a four-person dome tent with a Gothic-arch structure and a useful front porch for weekend camping and festival trips. Its ProTex 70D polyester flysheet has a 3000 mm hydrostatic-head rating, paired with a durable PE groundsheet, breathable inner and PowerFlex fibreglass poles.

Pre-attached guylines, colour-coded poles, inner storage pockets and lantern hanging points keep the setup practical around camp. The tent weighs 4.79 kg and packs to 70 x 18 cm.

About the brand

Vango

Vango is a Scottish outdoor brand, founded in 1966 in the west of Scotland by Alistair Moodie, its name an anagram of Govan, where it began. Still based near Glasgow at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, it has spent decades designing tents and equipment tested against real Scottish weather.

Vango is best known for pioneering AirBeam inflatable tent technology, which replaces traditional poles with air beams so large family tents can be pitched in minutes, now used across its tents and drive away awnings too.
