Description

Wet leather can become heavy and less comfortable, so restoring water repellency without compromising the structure of the footwear matters. Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather Sponge-On Waterproofer is formulated for smooth leather footwear, adding durable water repellency while helping the leather retain its support, suppleness and breathability.

The sponge-on format makes it easy to work the treatment evenly into clean leather, including footwear with waterproof breathable membranes such as GORE-TEX®. It is intended for smooth leather only rather than nubuck or suede, and the finish may darken the leather slightly, so testing on a small area first is sensible.
