Easy Camp Tents for Campsite, Festival and Adventure Camping

Easy Camp tents are designed to take the hassle out of camping. If you are new to camping or want a tent that goes up quickly without technical complexity, Easy Camp is a strong choice. The range covers everything from compact two-person tents to large festival and family models, all built around straightforward pitching and good value for money.

Easy Camp tent structure: tunnel and dome designs compared

Easy Camp adventure tents use either a dome or tunnel structure. Dome tents — where the poles cross at the apex — are freestanding, meaning the tent holds its shape before you peg it out. This makes them easier to position on a pitch and practical for sites with rocky or uneven ground. Tunnel tents run poles parallel from front to back, giving a longer interior and more efficient use of floor space for sleeping, but rely on the pegs for structure and are less suited to repositioning once pitched.

Pitching Easy Camp tents: how setup time is designed into the structure

Easy Camp adventure and festival tents use colour-coded poles and pole sleeves to remove ambiguity from pitching. The pole-and-sleeve system does not require specialist knowledge — matching colours to sleeves is enough to get the structure up. Festival tents in the range, including the Sandland Yurt and Otra Tipi, are designed to pitch faster than conventional dome or tunnel tents, which is useful at a festival arrival when daylight or energy may be limited.

Frequently asked questions

What types of Easy Camp tents do you stock?

We carry adventure tents from the Hemsedal and Setesdal range, festival tents including the Sandland Yurt and Otra Tipi, the Palmdale family tunnel tent, and the Beach Shelter for coastal use.

Are Easy Camp tents suitable for Irish weather?

Easy Camp adventure tents are built for northern European conditions and handle the rain and wind typical of Irish camping well. The adventure range is rated for three-season use. Festival tents are designed for summer use and offer adequate protection for a weekend event but are not built for prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Can I see Easy Camp tents in store before buying?

Yes. We carry Easy Camp tents in our stores and staff can advise on which model suits your camping. Visit us at Carrickmines, Blanchardstown, Cork City Centre or Arnotts Dublin. You can also order online with Click and Collect at any location.

What is the difference between an adventure tent and a festival tent?

Adventure tents are built for multi-night use in variable conditions — they use heavier fabrics, higher hydrostatic head ratings and more robust pole systems. Festival tents prioritise quick setup and low price for short-duration summer use. If you are camping in Ireland outside of peak summer, an adventure tent is the practical choice.
