Meindl shoe care is available online at 53 Degrees North with delivery across Ireland, plus free Click and Collect from our stores.
How often should I proof and condition my boots?
As a rough guide, reproof whenever water stops beading on the leather, and condition every few months or after heavy use. Boots worn often in wet Irish weather need it more regularly.
Can I use Meindl care products on GORE-TEX boots?
Yes. Meindl's proofers and sprays are made to work with lined footwear, restoring the outer water repellency that helps a GORE-TEX membrane keep doing its job. Just follow the directions on the product.
Will proofing or conditioner darken the leather?
Conditioning products can slightly darken some leathers, especially lighter nubuck. It is worth testing on a small area first, and applying thin, even coats rather than one heavy one.
Can I collect orders in store?
Yes, choose Click & Collect at checkout. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours and you will get an email when ready. Available from our Dublin Carrickmines, Dublin Blanchardstown and Cork City Centre stores.
Do you offer free delivery on orders?
