Description

Cold, changeable mountain weather is exactly where the Columbia Women's Bird Mountain III Insulated Jacket earns its place. Its waterproof-breathable fabric helps block wet weather while allowing excess heat and moisture vapour to escape, backed by critical seam sealing in key areas and an Active Fit with stretch panels for easier movement.

Omni-Heat™ Infinity uses an expanded pattern of gold thermal-reflective dots to retain body heat while remaining breathable. Warmth is backed by 100% recycled polyester Thermarator™ insulation and 80 g Omni-Heat™ Stretch insulation, which adds flexibility for active days in the cold. Zipped underarm vents give you a quick way to release excess heat when effort or temperatures rise.

The ski-specific details are properly considered: the attached helmet-compatible hood adjusts without sacrificing peripheral vision, while the powder skirt, adjustable cuffs, thumbhole comfort cuffs and drawcord hem help close out wind and snow. A ski-pass pocket, goggle pocket and interior security pocket keep slope essentials organised, and the removable faux-fur trim lets you adjust the finish.

An Ultra Touch nylon shell is supported by stretch polyester-elastane panels, with a polyester lining and synthetic insulation throughout. At 69.9 cm through the centre back, it gives practical jacket-length coverage for skiing and snowsports while staying easy to layer.
