Description

Fast movement over steep, wet and technical ground calls for secure footing as well as weather protection. The Columbia Women's Peakfreak Titanium Mid OutDry Hiking Boots use a mid-cut design and a structured Geo-Cage upper to add lightweight stability and support, while the NAVIC FIT SYSTEM™ draws the lacing into a secure midfoot hold.

OutDry™ bonds a waterproof-breathable membrane directly to the outer construction, helping seal out rain and snow while allowing heat and moisture vapour to escape. The technical mesh upper adds breathability, with a moulded heel counter and toecap protecting higher-wear areas. The laces themselves are not waterproof, which is worth keeping in mind in prolonged wet conditions.

Underfoot, a moulded Techlite™ Eco insole uses 20% recycled content for lasting support and cushioning. The Techlite+™ midsole adds lightweight cushioning, stability and energy return, while a TPU shank supports the midfoot and an integrated forefoot rock plate helps protect against sharp, uneven ground. Flex grooves preserve useful forefoot movement alongside that protective plate.

Vibram® Megagrip rubber finishes the package with 5 mm traction lugs designed to grip wet and dry surfaces and shed mud as you move. Together, the secure midfoot fit, cushioned platform and technical outsole make these waterproof hiking boots particularly well suited to quicker-paced hiking on mixed mountain terrain.
