Description

Wet technical trails demand grip, cushioning and weather protection without turning the shoe into a heavy hiking boot. The Hoka Men's Speedgoat 7 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes use GORE-TEX Invisible Fit to provide waterproof protection while maintaining a close, flexible feel around the foot. A durable CORDURA® upper made with recycled content adds trail-ready resistance to abrasion, while the dynamic vamp adapts as the forefoot moves.

Super-critical EVA cushioning keeps the ride responsive over longer trail miles, and Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug delivers dependable grip across wet rock, mud and mixed terrain. Five-millimetre lugs add bite underfoot, while gaiter integration, a recycled heel pull and 360° reflective detailing bring practical finishing touches. Toggle lacing allows quick adjustment, with standard laces also supplied.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
