Description

Rain and saturated ground should not mean giving up the responsive feel of a trail runner. The Hoka Women's Speedgoat 6 GORE-TEX Running Shoes use GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, a waterproof membrane bonded closely to the upper to reduce bulk and help the shoe remain flexible in wet conditions. Recycled-polyester mesh keeps the upper light, while a bolstered heel collar, protective toe rand and close-fitting construction add hold and protection over rough ground.

Compression-moulded EVA cushions repeated impacts and Smooth MetaRocker™ uses a curved sole profile to encourage an efficient transition through the stride. Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug combines high-grip rubber with shaped lugs for added bite, supported by a 5mm tread depth for loose and technical terrain. A moulded EVA sockliner adds underfoot comfort, creating a waterproof trail shoe suited to changeable weather.

About the brand

Hoka

Hoka, originally Hoka One One, is a running brand founded in 2009 in Annecy, France, by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, two trail runners who had previously worked at Salomon. They wanted a shoe that let them run downhill faster and with less fatigue, so they went against the minimalist trend of the time and built in far more cushioning. The name comes from a Maori phrase meaning to fly over the earth.

That maximalist idea, an oversized midsole with soft, deep cushioning, is still what Hoka is known for. Paired with a rocker-shaped sole that smooths each stride, it helps reduce impact over long distances. The range now covers road and trail running, walking and recovery footwear for every kind of runner.
