Description

The Ledlenser HF4R Rechargeable Headtorch packs two beams into one compact lamp head: a spot that picks out the path well ahead and a wide flood for the jobs right in front of you. It puts out up to 650 lumens with a reach of 130 metres, and there's a red front light for when you'd rather keep your night vision, like checking a map or getting into the tent.

You've two ways to power it. The included rechargeable battery charges by USB-C, and the HF4R also runs on standard AAA batteries, so you can swap them in if the rechargeable runs flat. Battery and charge indicators show what's left, and Backup Mode keeps about an hour of light going once the battery gets low.

It weighs 92 g with the battery in and sits on an elastic headband you can take off and wash. The lamp head tilts to point the light where you're looking, and a transport lock stops it switching on in your bag. It's rated IP67 for water and dust.

Ledlenser gives the HF4R a 7-year warranty when you register it, and the polyester in the headband is 100% recycled.
