Description

For simple, dependable insulation without valves, pumps or the risk of a puncture ending your night's comfort, the NEMO Switchback Ultralight Sleeping Pad uses closed-cell foam in a fast-folding accordion design. The Regular insulated version gives you a full 183 × 51 cm sleeping surface while remaining straightforward to deploy, pack and use on rough ground.

Hexagonal nodes in dual-density Axiotomic™ foam create softer body-contact areas over a more supportive structure, helping the pad balance cushioning with resilience. Taller nodes also leave more room for the underside of your sleeping bag to retain loft, while a metallised low-emissivity film reflects heat back towards the sleeper for additional warmth.

With an R-value of 2, this version is suited to milder-season camping or as a durable insulating layer beneath another sleeping mat when conditions are colder. The folding panels set up in seconds and can also be used partially folded as a quick seat around camp.

This exact Regular insulated version weighs approximately 415 g and packs to around 51 × 13 × 14 cm, making it a practical choice for camping and backpacking when durability and instant setup are priorities.
