Description

Dirt and UV exposure both shorten the useful life of tents and outdoor equipment. Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash is a technical cleaner and UV blocker for tents, backpacks and outdoor covers. It cleans effectively, revives water repellency (DWR), increases fabric strength and protects against UV deterioration, extending the active life of your gear.

The 500 ml spray-on bottle is water-based, non-flammable and aerosol free, and is recommended for synthetic and canvas tents and gear. Wet the outside of the fabric, spray evenly from about 15 cm, rub in with a damp cloth or sponge, then rinse with clean water and air dry. Use about 50 ml per square metre of fabric. To waterproof afterwards, use Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof on synthetic items or Nikwax Cotton Proof on cotton.
