Persistent rain requires more than a lightweight shower layer. The Patagonia Men's Torrentshell 3L Rain Jacket uses H2No Performance Standard construction for durable waterproof and breathable protection through hiking, travel and everyday wet weather.

The three-layer ECONYL recycled nylon shell combines a polycarbonate polyurethane membrane with a comfortable tricot backer. Its fabric, membrane and water-repellent finish are made without intentionally added PFAS, creating dependable coverage without unnecessary complexity.

  • Two welt handwarmer pockets and venting welted pit zips enhance functionality; the jacket self-stuffs into the left handwarmer pocket and includes a carabiner clip-in loop.
  • Hook-and-loop cuff closures and an adjustable drawcord hem help seal out precipitation.
