Description

Fast hiking on technical ground benefits from the agility of a low shoe without losing the protection expected from mountain footwear. The Scarpa Men's Ribelle Cross 2 GORE-TEX Shoes combine a lightweight technical-fabric and TPU upper with a protective rand that wraps into the midsole for added lateral stability and abrasion resistance. A GORE-TEX ePE membrane provides waterproof protection while allowing moisture vapour to escape, helping keep the foot more comfortable in wet conditions.

The PRESA® HIK-06 sole is designed for medium- to long-distance mountain hiking, using pronounced lugs and enlarged studs for grip and stability across rocky, wet and uneven ground. A shock-absorbing midsole adds cushioning while the lace system distributes pressure for a secure, adjustable hold. Scarpa's EXO construction reinforces the upper around the foot, making this a low-cut crossover for fast hikes, technical approaches and changeable mountain weather.

The midsole is the result of a meticulous research of materials, density and inserts to create the right compromise between control, precision and comfort. In the study of tread design, the key is the correct position of the self-cleaning plugs and channels, to satisfy the needs of thrust and braking and ensure effective cleaning of the sole from debris. The compounds are specifically designed for the outdoor world, with the objective of obtaining maximum performance in all weather conditions and on all types of terrain, without compromising the duration.

Scarpa

Scarpa is an Italian footwear brand, founded in 1938 in Asolo, in the Dolomite foothills of northern Italy. The name is an acronym for Societa Calzaturiera Asolana Riunita Pedemontana Anonima, and the original idea was to bring together the area's best shoemakers under one roof. Since 1956 it has been owned and run by the Parisotto family, still based in the same part of Italy.

Scarpa is best known for mountaineering boots, rock climbing shoes and ski touring boots, alongside hiking and trail running footwear. It was among the first to design footwear specifically for climbing and mountaineering, and the range still balances traditional Italian craftsmanship with technical innovation and a reputation for durability and fit.
