What size raincover do I need for my backpack?
Match the cover to your pack's capacity in litres. Cover sizes are banded by volume, so a small cover suits daypacks, a medium fits mid-size hiking packs, and larger covers handle full trekking loads. If you are between sizes, the larger one still cinches down to fit.
Do I still need a raincover if my pack is waterproof?
Most packs are water resistant rather than fully waterproof, and seams and zips let water in during sustained rain. A raincover keeps the bulk of the water off, and pairing it with a dry liner or dry bags inside protects the kit that must stay dry.
Will a raincover stay on in strong wind?
The elasticated edge and any securing straps are designed to hold the cover on in gusts, but in very strong wind clipping or tucking the cover under a compression strap adds security. On exposed ridges that extra step is worth taking.
Can I use an Osprey raincover on a non-Osprey pack?
Yes. Raincovers are sized by volume rather than by brand, so as long as you pick the size band that matches your pack's litres, the cover will fit packs from other makers just as well.
Can I collect orders in store?
Yes, choose Click & Collect at checkout. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours and you will get an email when ready. Available from our Dublin Carrickmines, Dublin Blanchardstown and Cork City Centre stores.
Do you offer free delivery on orders?
Yes, we offer free standard delivery on all orders over €100.
