How do these shirts fit?
Most have a relaxed, easy fit designed to hang loose in warm weather and to layer comfortably over a t-shirt. If you want a trimmer line, sizing down works, though it costs you some of the airflow that makes them comfortable in heat.
Can I wear a short sleeve shirt over a t-shirt?
Yes, and it is the most natural way to wear one. Left open over a plain tee it works as a light layer for cool evenings and gives your arms and shoulders some cover from the sun without any real warmth.
Are they suitable for hot weather?
Very. Light, breathable fabric and a relaxed cut are exactly what you want when it is genuinely hot, since a loose shirt that lets air circulate keeps you cooler than bare skin in direct sun.
How do I stop a cotton shirt creasing?
Take it out of the wash promptly, shake it out and hang it to dry rather than letting it sit crumpled. Most relaxed summer fabrics are meant to look lived-in, so a few creases are part of the intended effect.
