Rip Curl T-Shirts

A good tee is the least complicated thing you own, and the most worn. Rip Curl builds its t-shirts from soft, durable cotton with the surf graphics and logo work the brand has been printing for decades, so they wear in comfortably and hold their shape and colour through a summer of constant use.

Rip Curl t-shirts for everyday wear

These are simple, well-made cotton tees carrying a bit of surf history on the front, which is most of what anyone wants from a t-shirt.

Soft cotton that improves with washing

Natural cotton feels comfortable from the first wear and softens further over time, which is why a particular tee slowly becomes the one you reach for without looking.

Surf graphics with a long history

Logo and graphic prints draw on decades of surf design, so they read as authentic rather than borrowed, whether the nearest wave is an hour away or right outside.

Built to hold their shape

Solid fabric weight and proper construction mean the collar keeps its shape and the body holds its cut through regular washing, rather than sagging out after a season.

Men's and women's cuts

Fits run across men's and women's shapes and a range of styles from relaxed to standard, so you can get the drape you want rather than making do with a single unisex block.

Frequently asked questions

How do Rip Curl t-shirts fit?

Most sit in a comfortable, regular fit that is neither clingy nor baggy, though relaxed styles run looser by design. If you prefer a closer or roomier drape, moving a size adjusts it. Each product page notes where a style runs particularly relaxed.

Will the print crack or fade?

Not with reasonable care. Washing cool and inside out, and drying away from strong heat, protects the print far more than anything else. Tumble drying on high heat is what cracks graphics and fades colour prematurely.

Are they suitable for wearing in the sun all day?

A cotton tee gives useful coverage but is not sun-protective in the way a UPF-rated top is, and it stays wet and heavy once soaked. For a full day in and out of the water, a rash vest is the better choice.

How should I wash a cotton t-shirt?

Cool wash, inside out to protect the print, and avoid high-heat drying, which causes most shrinkage. Reshaping while damp keeps the collar and body sitting properly for the life of the shirt.
